A Brief History
Enjoying margaritas at Santa Fe has been an Upper West tradition for almost 40 years. We tend to agree with New York Magazine that we have “New York’s best frozen margarita!”
Our drinks will get you in the door, and the food will keep you coming back for more! We serve contemporary Southwestern and Mexican cuisine, including our innovative weekly specials by Executive Chef José Gonzalez and the popular Santa Fe favorites that first put us on the map.
ABOUT OUR CHEF
José Gonzáles has been a well-noted chef for over 20 years. Some of his achievements include being invited to judge talented new pastry chefs at the French Culinary Institute and participating as a sous chef several times at the James Beard Foundation. José's New York experience encompasses long tenures at The Rocking Horse, Sueños, The Wyndham Hotel, La Guardia, and Los Dados. His titles have included Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
